Oriental Stube (36 sq m)

Already in 1845 alderman Diedrich Ferdinand Riesenkamf was fascinated by oriental culture. His profound interest and affection for the orient made him reconstruct a part of his summer mansion.

In the proximity of the mansion there was the original port of Tallinn and sailors and merchants from many different locations gathered here. Thanks to them the alderman was able to acquire oriental objects such as ornaments, drapery, lights, furniture, etc.

The rear part of the mansion was decorated in the oriental style- abundantly and enchantingly, bringing a touch of warmth and oriental cultural mysteriousness into our cool climate.

Today up to 15 can be nicely accommodated to spend good time in Oriental Stube. There are water pipes in the room (please prearrange for their use).  Oriental Stube also has a mini-kitchen with a microwave oven, ice machine and dishes for 12 people.
